<i>Linaria sagrensis</i> (Plantaginaceae), a new high mountain species from the SE Iberian Peninsula

Linaria sagrensis, from the south-eastern Iberian Peninsula, is here newly described, illustrated, and compared with its morphologically closest relatives L. sect. Supinae: pruinosa, nevadensis, glacialis alpina subsp. alpina. The species characterized by being perennial, entirely glandular-hairy, inflorescence dense corymbiform, calyx lobes unequal; corolla small, pinkish-violet, conspicuous dark veins yellow to orangish palate, spur shorter than rest of corolla; capsule globose, glandular-hairy at apex; seeds large, black greyish, apparently smooth disc, though very few scattered small tubercles, light-grey wing. sagrensis endemic Sierra de la Sagra (N Granada province, Spain), growing in calcareous screes Mediterranean high mountain. Additionally, aeruginea pruinosa raised rank, therefore a new combination proposed. value seed characters taxonomy discussed based on discovered infraspecific variability several taxa.

Faunistic data is given for 43 species of Dolichopodidae from the Iberian Peninsula. Altogether nine species are recorded for the first time from Portugal and six species from Spain.
